Mattie Miracle 9th Annual Candy Drive

MUST RECEIVE CANDY BY: Saturday, November 9, 2019

Not sure what to do with your left over Halloween candy? We will be glad to take it! Looking for individually wrapped and commercially made candy only.  We are grateful to our 35 schools and 40 businesses who donate candy and generously support our annual drive last year.

Mattie Miracle collects this candy and donates it to 7 hospitals and 10 non-profit organizations that assist children with cancer and others in need.  Specifically at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (Washington, DC) and Children's Hospital at Sinai (Baltimore, MD), the candy helps to stock a free snack/item we operate to assist families caring for children with life threatening illnesses. Candy is highly sought after and considered almost a necessity to help families manage through the long hours of caregiving.

Mattie Miracle 8th Annual Item Drive

April 15, 2019

In honor of Mattie's 17th birthday, we will be hosting our eighth annual item drive.  All donated toiletries stock our Mattie Miracle Free Snack & Item Carts for in-patient pediatric families at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Children’s Hospital at Sinai in Baltimore.  When living in a hospital 24 hours a day, seven days a week and caring for a child who is battling cancer, receiving these items can feel like a gift.  Families often rush to the hospital when their children are ill and are unable to pack basic items that are needed for daily care. The carts fulfill these needs.

You can participate in our item drive from anywhere in the USA.  Please view our Amazon wish list below, and help us keep our Mattie Miracle carts stocked to support families caring for children with cancer.
We ask that all items be received by April 15, 2019.
